Welcome to the 2010 Fighting Cardinals Football Season:
It looks to be a great season for the Cards as we open with a test against #11 Area Ranked Brazoswood. We encourage all parents to join the Booster Club by paying a $25 registration fee which includes 2
family shirts that provide free admission to all subvarsity home games, a free program and other benefits. You can complete your Booster Club registration and pay other 2010 registration fees on the 2010
Registration Form [add link]. The form with money can be turned in to Coach Herrmann or mailed to the BHS Football Boosters, P.O. Box 945, Bellaire, TX 77402.
One of the most important roles of the Booster Club is volunteering. We have numerous committees that need help every year and as our program grows we need more and more help. First and foremost we need some key leadership for the the committees of the Booster Club. So far we have filled Captain roles in Friday Game Day Ticket Sales, Uniform Washing, Friday Fundraiser Meal Sales (Quizno’s), Game Statistics and Program Ad Sales. You can co-captain any of these volunteer roles with someone you know. Please respond to Gina Rodriquez if you can serve in any of these key capacities this year

Captain – Varsity Meals
This position is responsible for recruiting and coordinating Varsity Meals that are provided before each game. Depending on the location of the game and time of day, the meal is served from 3-4 hours before
the game time. Volunteers monitor the buffet line to make sure that portions are reasonable and the food lasts for the entire team, coaches and trainers. 2-3 people are needed for each Varsity Meal.
Captain – Subvarsity Admission Gate
This position is responsible for recruiting and coordinating the Admission Gate for all subvarsity games. Starting an hour before the game and through the end of the first half, we charge $3 for adults and $1 for children. Family members wearing their family booster shirt and their children only are admitted free. At least two people are needed for each game – one to collect money and one to monitor
unauthorized access points.
Captain – Varsity Merchandise Sales
This position is responsible for recruiting and coordinating the sale of Merchandise at Varsity home games. A table is set up in the concourse ½ hour before each game and sales continue until the game starts. The merchandise is then sold from mid-field the rest of the game. At least two people are needed for each game to handle Varsity Merchandise sales. Merchandise includes spirit shirts, magnetic car
emblems, coupon books and other items.
If you are unable to serve in a leadership role but can help on these committees, please email Gina Rodriguez at ginarodriguez86@gmail.com
Thank you and Go Cards!
