FROM THE DESK OF COACH WALKER:  
 
Schedule for the Week of August 25-31.
 
Mon.-Wed., Aug. 25-27 - Regular Practice After School - JV/Varsity till 6:00.  No Freshman after school activites until Friday's game.  
 
Wed., Aug. 27 - After Practice - Booster Club will be selling the 2008 T-shirts and Tickets to the Varsity Games.  The T-shirts have all the players' names on the back and will be sold for $15.  For the Varsity Game Tickets,  buying tickets in advance are cheaper than at the door, and the advance ticket sales go back to the football program.  Advance ticket prices are:  $2 for students, $4 for adults.  Ticket prices at the Stadium are $8 for everyone and DO NOT benefit Bellaire Football.  Also, since HISD game tickets are not dated, the tickets can be used for any HISD regular season game. 
 
Thurs., Aug. 28 - VARSITY GAME DAY - The Varsity plays Alief-Taylor at Butler Stadium at 7:00 p.m.  No practice after school for JV or Freshman. 
 
Fri., Aug. 29 - JV & FRESHMAN GAME DAY - Freshman play Alief-Taylor at HOME at 5:00 p.m.  The JV play AWAY at Taylor HS, 7555 Howell Sugar Land Dr. in Alief.
T-shirts will be available for sell at both games.   All Varsity meet at Breakaway Speed (located at Beechnut & 610 Loop) after school from 3:30-5:30.

With the start of the Football Season this week, the Booster Club has some volunteer needs.  Please email if you can help with in any of these areas starting this week.
 
1) Photographer for Freshman or JV Games - anyone who likes to take pictures at games, we could use a few good shots each week for the website. 
 
2) Statistician for Freshman or JV Games - anyone who likes to keep a football score book, we will use the information for the website and game write-ups.
 
3) Sell Varsity Game Tickets During Lunch  - on Varsity Game Day, in the courtyard. 
 
4) Serve Varsity Meal on Game Days - The times are 3:45 - 4:15p.m. on Thursday or Friday games.  The Saturday times are approximately 9:30 a.m. for 1:00 games and 2:30 p.m. for 6:00 games.
